What do I need to bring?

A road bike in good working order, we recommend that you have your bike serviced before your trip.
You will also require cycling kit appropriate to the season, we recommend that you bring a selection of both winter and summer kit. We insist you bring and wear an appropriate cycling helmet. Once you have confirmed your booking you will receive a detailed travel pack confirming the kit list.

Do I Require Travel Insurance?

Yes, we insist that you have full travel insurance that includes sporting activities. Cycling on open roads can be dangerous, so insurance for yourself and equipment is essential.

Making a booking and payment

We ask riders to pay a 50% deposit to confirm your reservation. The full balance for you trip needs to be paid 30 days before departure. If you book 30 days before departure, we will require full payment.

Can I hire a bike?

Yes, we have a limited supply of hire bikes available. Please inform us as early as possible if you require a bike, so we can guarantee the correct size is available and ensure our mechanic can set up the bike to your specific requirements.

Do you offer a guide only service?

Yes, we can offer a guide only service anywhere in the Yorkshire area. We also offer fully supported rides including a mechanic and support vehicle.

How fit do I need to be?

Our rides are for all abilities. If you are joining us on a bespoke or corporate ride, we will discuss fitness levels and how challenging the rides will be before you arrive. If we have a mixed ability group, then our guides will split the group to ensure everyone has an enjoyable and challenging ride. Most of our scheduled rides will be challenging. We will indicate how challenging on the specific scheduled ride. If in any doubt, please call us to discuss.

Can I bring a non-riding companion?

Yes, there are many attractions and activities within the local area. Our expert tour guide Clair has a wealth of knowledge about all the wonderful things on offer within Yorkshire. She is also an excellent shopping guide.

Do you offer a self-catering option at the accommodation?

Yes, we can offer a self-catering option at the accommodation, you would need to book the whole accommodation to have this option.
